Where to eat & drink

I've moved to Vienna 1 month ago and now I finally found some time to create my first "Vienna guide" post.
Amongst many other things, the Austrian capital is well known for its traditional cafes, modern bars and hip bistros.
I've chosen my favorites (I surely forgot some) and you need to check them out when in Vienna.

Motto am Fluss
What's unique? First of all, the place looks like a ship (as you can see on my photo). Then I love the modern and fancy yet lovely furniture, their special food & drink offer (very photogenic breakfast!) and the friendly waiters.
Where is it? The bar/bistro/restaurant is located right next to the Danube canal - Schwedenplatz 2, 1010 Wien
Price range? Prices depend on what you drink or eat, but I would rather consider it being a quite expensive spot.

Burg.ring 1
What's unique? I personally always feel well when stopping by this awesome bar/bistro for a cake or coffee. The retro furniture and cute hanging lamps create a really cosy atmosphere.
Where is it? It's located on the impressive 'Ringstraße' and the address is identical to the name - Burgring 1, 1010 Wien
Price range? Prices are appropriate, but you have to be careful when ordering drinks because prices change by size.

Burggasse 24
What's unique? The cafe is actually in a vintage store (gonna mention the store in another post). Therefore the furniture is obviously vintage. The music is chosen well (mainly jazz) and the waiter is always extremely friendly.
Where is it? The cafe/store is located in the 7th district which is one of the most characteristic ones of Vienna. The street "Burggasse" is filled with vintage stores and small boutiques.
- Burggasse 24, 1070 Wien
Price range? Prices are set low to middle.

Café Français
What's unique? As soon as entering this cafe/bistro/restaurant you can feel the French vibe. I love the cute details (champagne bottles get used as flower vases). The food tastes excellent and the drinks are delicious and creative as well. I recommend tasting the "Lavender soda".
Where is it? It's located just 5 minutes away from Vienna's main university and exactly opposite the impressive Votive church (beautiful sight) - Währinger Straße 6-8, 1090 Wien
Price range? Prices aren't set too high as mainly students and employees like to lunch there.

Wunderladen Modecafe
What's unique? The small cafe/shop is known for its cosy feeling - you suddenly feel like you're at home in your own living room. You will be amazed by the lovely decoration and you will meet a lot of nice people there. You can also rent the room for your own party or any special event. And if you are creating your own clothing pieces (or accessorizes), you can ask the owner, if you can sell them in the store.
Where is it? The cafe is located 5 minutes walking from Karlsplatz (important sight and metro station) - Argentinierstraße 1, 1040 Wien
Price range? The drinks and snacks aren't expensive. You'll pay about 3 euros for a big cup of a hot chocolate.

Hope you liked my Vienna food&drink guide.
I will share some more spots as soon as I will find new awesome bars, cafes and restaurants.
